Alpe Piano has been around since 2024. The company was born from the idea of creating high-quality, sustainable clothing that feels great to wear, while also offering a place where people can connect through excellent service and a warm atmosphere. 

That said, it’s the people who are at the heart of it all. The people behind the brand, our community, who give each collection a face and bring it to life, and of course, you. 

Josef Grüner

What can be said about Josef Grüner? Josef is the man behind the Bellavista Hut. He cooks, organises and is a real go-getter. Josef is creative and dedicated, he enjoys travelling the world, but he loves being up in his mountains in the Schnalstal even more. Up there, it’s not just the food that’s delicious – you sleep in heavenly wooden beds and there are several outdoor saunas to enjoy. Plus, of course, skiing, and a boccia court invites you to have a go.

He and his family have deep roots there, they also run the boutique hotel ‘Goldene Rose Karthaus’, which lies a little further down the valley. If you’d like to visit the Grüner family, you should allow yourself plenty of time. For one thing, it takes a while to reach these hidden spots. For another, the sense of time up there is quite different. Breathe in, breathe out – and you’ve already arrived!

Pramol Alto

Just a stone's throw from our head office, up on the mountain, lies the little hidden gem that is Pramol Alto. After gaining extensive culinary experience all over the world, Ethel Hoon and Jakob Zeller made their home there and opened the fine dining restaurant in 2025.

The food served there is of the very finest quality, and the view of Bolzano and the first peaks of the Dolomites beyond is simply stunning. Ethel and Jakob wear their Alpe Piano clothes both for their work around the farm and, of course, in the house and dining room. Drop by and enjoy some relaxing moments far away from it all.

Gianni Danesi

Gianni Danesi – a companion, an explorer, a friend … and so much more to us. And this versatility is also reflected in his life. Bergamo is his home, yet he describes himself as a curious traveller. With curiosity and passion, he spoils his guests at ‘La Fiaschetteria’, a small mountain inn in Borgo Santa Caterina. If he isn’t there, you’re sure to find him at his La Galeria No. 5, where he tends to the maturing of his cheese collection.

As a creative mind, he is also the driving force behind the “Bergamasco Experience” project, a travel guide to Bergamo and its fascinating hinterland with its hidden treasures. Gianni also chooses his outfits with care and enjoys wearing his Alpe Piano pieces during all his activities. Why not pop in and say hello to him on our behalf?
